This is an oldie done just for personal interest. Its quite abstract but was actually painted from a photograph. If you look carefully you can see the silhouette of a man’s legs at the top of some steps in a doorway and he is holding a briefcase.

This is commission of Ian Brown from the Stone Roses. It’s a copy of a piece spotted on a website selling similar pieces of iconic celebrities in this style. In my opinion, the level of technical ability and time required for such pieces did not necessarily warrant the price tag they had. In the end I reproduced the piece in a few hours – at a much lower price of course.

This is a commission I completed about a year ago. The customer wanted a copy of Dali’s The Eye, so for authenticity I had a canvas made in the proportions of the original. It took about 2 days to finish which is a normal length of time for me – once I start something, I get engrossed and can’t wait to see the final piece.
I was really pleased with the outcome – as was the customer! The original can be seen here: http://www.tate.org.uk/tateetc/issue10/dali_lightscamera.htm
